Live Each Day Like it’s Your Last – An Interpretation

last day on earth

An interpretation of the saying “Live each day like it’s your last”…

To me, it doesn’t mean to go out and do something dangerous that may kill you or quit your job or go wild…to me the saying resonates in gratitude for this day.

This day the sky will look different as before, never again will it look exactly be the same.
Oh how you are so lucky to see it.
So look at it.
Take it in.
Whether it may be the last time or one of thousands more…
Just be thankful you get to see it.

Do the things you’ve been wanting to do.
Because one day you won’t be able to.
If it will take a long time or you need a plan,
Start it now.
Now’s the best time.

All of those people you see,
You know,
You love,
You hate…
Will be dead someday.
What do you want to do for them before they go?
Can you make their life better in some way?

Because life can be taken away from us so easily,
We need to cherish every waking moment.
This is our sign,
The most obvious one in front of all of us to live the best life we can.

The best life isn’t the one told to you,
It is from a meaning that you decide yourself. One deep inside your heart.

In heaven they don’t care how much you got paid or how many business deals you got, or what kind of car you drove. Do those things really matter?
In terms of life or death,
don’t they mean absolutely nothing?
So focus on what does matter.
What does that mean to you?
Why are you here?
What are you going to do with it?
What would make your life complete?
Well, today is the day.

What are you waiting for?

If you wait too long it may be too late.
