A friend of mine recently made a small outdoor couch and coffee table using pallets, paint and cushions. How creative and even better that it’s a great decor solution for tight budgets.
You may be able to find warehouses in your area that will give you pallets for free. Or check out home improvement shops for a cheap discount.
To prevent unwanted splinters, sand the pallets down and then paint them. You can dress up the sides with grommets and utilize some other materials like rope, glass tops, tiles and more. They also make for easy gardening boxes.
I like the fact that you can do it without much technical measuring involved since they come already assembled.
